A Note From Kayla

As my year so far as Jr. Miss Rodeo South Dakota I have travel more than I ever thought I would. I have met a lot people from all over the United States and have grown closer with my rodeo family. I have gone to many SDRA and PRCA Rodeos so far during my year of rein. A few of them include the SDRA Finals, Foothills Rodeo, Days of 76 Rodeo, First Chance Bonanza Rodeo, and more. One of my most exciting trips was going to Las Vegas in December for the National Finals Rodeo and the Miss Rodeo America pageant. There, I attended the Rodeo Royalty Seminar, watched horsemanship, and speeches. Another exciting trip I went on was to Rapid City, SD for the Black Hills Stock Show and Rodeo where I hosted the Queen's Corral. I also had the opportunity to run sponsor flags for the Extreme Bulls. Being Jr. Miss Rodeo South Dakota has been a life changing experience with many more new adventures to come. A huge thank you to my loving parents and my sponsors: Jewel Quarter Horses, Premiere Source, and Brookings custom image.
